Kirby Kelly was born in Natchez, Mississippi and grew up in Ferriday, Louisiana the home town of Jimmy Swaggart, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Mickey Gilley. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana State University. He also attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he obtained a Masters of Art in English, before attending Southern University Law Center. He taught English at both the high school and college level. He was named teacher of the year while teaching high school English in the New Orleans area. After graduating from law school, Mr. Kelly worked briefly as a staff attorney for the Department of Environmental Quality before opening his own personal injury firm in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1994. Since that time Mr. Kelly’s personal injury firm has grown tremendously, becoming one of the largest personal injury firms in Northern Louisiana with offices in both Shreveport and Monroe, Louisiana. In a 2009 poll conducted by the Shreveport Times, Mr. Kelly’s firm was voted one of the best personal injury firm in the Shreveport area.

Mr. Kelly believes in giving back to the community. Mr. Kelly’s firm has donated computers to area schools, sponsored little league baseball teams, and numerous other civic minded activities. Additionally, he is an active tennis player and golfer.

Dean is the director of the litigation department of the Law Offices of Kirby Kelly. He has experience in complex civil and criminal litigation and has represented many clients in both bench and jury trials all over Louisiana. In addition, Dean has successfully represented personal injury clients who suffered injury in automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, toxic spills, chemical burns, animal attacks, and police brutality/excessive force incidents. After practicing for 12 years at the firm of Miller, Lucius, and Hampton, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Dean was brought in to head litigation department of the Law Offices of Kirby Kelly because of his background as a trial attorney and his experience with catastrophic injury cases.

Dean was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, and currently lives in Shreveport, Louisiana, with his wife, Robin, and their three children, Brittany, Ryane, and Colin. Robin and Dean are active in their children’s school and athletic functions and are avid tennis players and fans.

Sean Landry was born and raised in Monroe, La. He received a bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, with a minor in Chemistry. He received a Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.

Mr. Landry was inducted into the Louisiana State Bar in 2004 and is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar, the Shreveport Bar Association and admitted to practice in the Western District of Louisiana.

Mr. Landry has been working for the Law Office of Kirby D. Kelly since May 2006. Prior to joining the Law Office of Kirby D. Kelly he was engaged in private practice in Monroe, Louisiana.
